Radley

We settled in to our room at the top of the Crown & Thistle hotel in Abington after grabbing lunch at their pub, including tasting their two “real ales”, that Ben had been looking forward to. We then headed over to Radley where we saw all the assembled cousins and other relative at the Kashti place. Rebecca’s birthday dinner followed, with a 1960s theme, from the dress to the cocktails, to the dessert. Ross, Hollie, and Noah were also there at the end of their UK week. They’s been in Northumberland with Scottish friends and drove down for the festivities.

The festivities were non-stop from Friday night through Monday morning, including the aforementioned dinner on Friday, the big party at the “real tennis” court, a Sunday brunch, and final goodbyes on Monday morning. Then back to Luton for our flight to Lyon. On the way to the airport we had to stop to top up the electric monster car. The first charging station we found was a level 2, which would have taken several hours to charge. Then we found a high speed charger in the parking lot of a Mc Donald’s, as that where we had lunch.

Photos here are mostly family, with a few shots of Abingdon and the Thames thrown in for good measure.
