Beaujolais

We dithered in the morning whether to go back into Lyon and explore there, or whether to head across the Saone to Beaujolais, eventually deciding on the latter. Although there was rain on and off, the area was extremely romantic and picturesque. Medieval cities, vineyards, and glowering clouds over rolling hills. The photos don’t really do it justice, I’m afraid.
