Wednesday was the dawn kayak tour of the Benagil caves with Bruno, who is a guide for BrotheRootz. Inflatable kayaks launched from the small Carvalho Beach. Some clouds and a little chilly, but the caves are even better at that hour because you’re all alone — the bigger tours and motorboats aren’t out yet.
Back home for naps and snacks, then a walk before dinner to explore the streets away from the beach. Dinner at Brasa na Praia, recommended by Bruno. Their piri piri chicken is the house specialty and earns it. The whole dinner, two desserts, and wine came to €43. And the waiter had a great sense of humor and also advised us well on our orders.
