eBike to Praia da Marinha

We rented eBikes and rode out to Praia da Marinha. While the ride was only about 32km (20mi), there were enough steep ups and downs that we were happy with the pedal assist. And the mountain bike tires were also good on the few stretches of gravel road. Rental company was Flow Ferragudo, a bike and water sports rental place run by two young women. One of the owners, Maísa, helped us out in planning our route, fitting our bikes, and, of course, taking our picture.

We visited the Praia da Marinha itself, which was crowded with a wonderful party atmosphere.

On the way back we saw a bunch of stork nests. These are apparently protected and you see them all over the Algarve. On the drive up to Lisbon there was a short section on the highway where the high tension towers each had about a dozen nests.

Back home in time for the obvious choice for dinner: Pizza Auna again, because once was not enough.
