Foia, and a Wrong Turn

Claude AI suggested that another must-do activity for us would be the Foia trail, which starts at the highest point in Algarve, winds its way down the hill, then climbs back up, making a tough circular route.

Ben missed a turn driving up and ended up on a winding mountain road, which was a lot of fun. The kind of unintended detour you’d take on purpose if you’d known.

Hiked the trail from the top. Tons of fabulous views and pretty flowers. But pretty tiring, as well.
