Drove up to Lisbon and met the landlord at the new place — a family of five, the father a doctor and entrepreneur, all of them remarkably welcoming. Returned the rental.

Walked the two kilometers to the supermarket and back. Cooked dinner at home and then walked over to the MAAT in the early evening, which sits well at that hour.

Monday was deliberately slow. We did some house inventory and made a run to the Colombo shopping mall by Uber to pick up a few “essentials” like more loose tea and a salad spinner. Dinner at home.
In the evening we again walked to the MAAT and continued downstream past the sailing clubs to the Discoveries Monument.
Gotta say we’re leading charmed lives!
